Description One of a pair of wooden panniers with cook gear, built by Miles R. Markley and his son John in 1950.

Pannier # 1, containing utensils, dinnerware, and canvas camp bucket. Wooden box with angled side, leather and wood carrying handles. Side with the bar is carried toward the horse's body, other side opens out away from the horses body. See pannier or source file for inventory of enclosed items.
