Mimeographed letter stating that the home and business directory of the Big Thompson Canyon road from Loveland to Estes Park is a reality, dated October, 1950. Notifies a canyon resident that they have been given residence number 445, and explains how house and business addresses were assigned in the canyon. On the outside, the letter is addressed to "Mrs. Walter Warner" with Loveland crossed out and California put in. "Insufficient address Oct 1950" stamped on exterior. The letter was in the possession of Marguerite Lindsey, who was very active with the Drake Club. The Drake and Crosier Home Extension Clubs sponsored the first directory for the canyon in 1950. |
