"The Blue Jeans Philharmonic Orchestra" conducted by Walter Charles. 33 1/3 RPM. James Paterson, assistant conductor. Front cover of record jacket is a photograph of a marquee with the title of the record superimposed. Back jacket cover is white with information about the manufacturer. Informational insert inside album cover contains information about the Blue Jeans Music Festival, which was held in Estes Park, Colorado. The Blue Jeans Music Festival was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Estes Park. It did not succeed in Estes Park but was moved to Evergreen, Colorado, and succeeded there as the Colorado Philharmonic. In 1966 this organization moved to Keystone, CO and became the Colorado Philharmonic. In 1986 until now (written in 5/2015) it was known as the National Repertory Orchestra in Keystone, CO with a summer residence in Breckenridge, CO. |
