Oral history interview with Greig Steiner. Greig Steiner was born August 9, 1934 in Los Angeles, California. He recounts growing up in California, his entry into art and theater, and his education at the Pasadena Playhouse. On the urging of Jerry Carlson he arrived in Estes Park in 1959 to work at the Dark Horse Theatre. He recounts his time with the Theatre and the various productions. He later goes on to work and paint with artist Dave Stirling, eventually opening his own gallery, The Steiner Studio and Gallery. Additionally, he and his wife, Ann, traveled across America hosting art shows. |
