    USA Government shell projectile - heavy steel which appears to have been machine lathed. At the base are 2 grooves and then what appears to be a brass collar straight at top edge, but irregular at bottom edge. Inside top appears to be threaded across from torn edge is a small hole through edge. Inside the base is concave. Marks: At top inside a white paper sticker with "F.E.     Valentine - three cut out sections hanging from a peach colored silk cord. The top is a pink rose and green leaves on a rectangular white cardboard. The middle is an arched board with a pink rose on it "With a heart full of affection" underneath is a heart with scalloped edges bordered by red and pin roses. In center a lake scene with small boat, trees, hills.
