Around edge under bands of gold is 2.2 cm band of maroon glaze trimmed with pattern of circles and leaves. Each circle trimmed with 5 dots of white glaze. Beneath bands on rim is 2 cm band of maroon decorated with circle and leaf design. on circle are 5 dots of white glaze. Below maroon band is a gold stencil border. No decoration on underside of dish except green stamp on base of manufacturer and location of factory.
