2005.031.001 - Scarf
Scarf from the NYLIC Star Club, Estes Park, 1958. Yellow, red, blue, white and black with images of western themes (wagons, cowboys, etc...) Printed on one side. Black trim. Donor purchased at an estate sale of Doug and Irene Linville of La Junta. Mr. Linville was an active Lions Club member. They traveled internationally as Lions Club participants in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.

Yellow wool exterior, satin interior vest worn by Gary Shanafelt with his involvement with Lions Club, over a 40 year period in Estes Park. Vest was handmade by Gary's mother, Katherine, in 1979. He accumulated the pins, buttons, and patches over time, continually adding to the vest. Donated after the dissolution of the Lions Club in 2022. Vest is constructed of several panels sewn together, with opening at front. Patches on reverse on top...
