  2. 1981.048.002 - Sock

    Men's pair lightweight Angora wool socks to be worn over or under a heavier pair of socks for there is no foot or heel, only a strap going under instep. Mottled brown wool with a 15.4 turndown cuff which has bands of green and purple knitted in for design. There is a decided change of ribbing where cuff turns down. Dr Pool used these socks while working at Olympus Lodge. Pool built Olympus Lodge and taught botany classes in the summer.
