1963.002.001 - Petition

Petition signed by townspeople on deer hide in Sept. 1908 to F.O. Stanley that the hotel he was building be named the Stanley Hotel because it will stand as a monument to its founder.

1975.025.001 - Fork, Dinner

Four tined fork with silver overlay. Heavy with slightly flaring handle, almost a coffin shape, with one ridge beside outer edge and rounded end. On back of handle one ridge corresponding to front. Apparently a match to 1975.025.005 Marks: On back of handle at narrow part is stamped "Victors Co. Alt Overlay" and next to that stamped "I S" Marks almost at body of fork - maybe from silver holder. Steel body with silver overlay on handle and stainless blade. Blade has serrated edge from tip down 4.6 cm. Handle has 2 grooves on both back and front and rounded end. Tip of blade rough.

Steel body with silver overlay on handle. Blade stainless with serrated edge 7.4 cm from tip down blade. Handle has 2 grooves front and back which follow rounded end of handle. Marks: Across base of blade "Stainless"

1975.025.004 - Spoon, Iced Tea

Long handled spoon with silver overlay. Heavy with slightly flaring handle. There is one groove with a partial ridge right at end, beside outer edge and a rounded end. Marks: Almost halfway up from bowl of spoon, on the back is stamped "Victors Co. A1" and "I S" in separate squares. Handle has been bent and has marks of a silverware holder.

1975.025.005 - Spoon, Iced Tea

Long handled spoon with silver overlay, and apparently a match to fork 1975.025.001. One ridge from just behind the bowl and rounded end. On back of handle a ridge corresponding to front. Bowl appears longer and narrower than a teaspoon. Marks: On back of handle at narrow part is stamped "Victors Co. A1" and next to that is stamped "I S"
