Description |
Black wood frame encasing five matted photos of Estes Park Chalet at various stages in its history. Silver inner border. Dimensions 62 cm x 10 cm, exposed glass area 47.6 cm x 89.5 cm. Four mounting holes top and bottom on left 23 cm from left side, on right 21 cm from right side. All mounting holes are set 3.8 cm from edge. Total border width 7 cm. Will hold picture 50 cm x 92 cm. Has three lag bolts for mounting in mounting holes, sixteen nails hold mat in place in frame. Two eye screws and picture mounting wire on back. Each eye screw is loose in threads, located about 24 cm from top and 2 cm from outer edge (.002) One of five black and white photographs showing the evolution of growth at Estes Park Chalets from about 1915 to the early 1930s, all framed together in a black and silver frame with white matte board. Number 11428 in white in lower right corner of the print. This print is the top right. Two story building, bd and batten siding, two people sitting on porch, one standing in front, one leaning against porch. Old auto on left of picture. (.003) This print is the top center. Shows chalet, two connected buildings, Clatworthy in loser right corner (.004) This print is the top left. Shows 4 buildings, row of Stanley Steamers and many guests in front. Clatworthy in lower right corner. (.005) This print is the bottom right. Shows six buildings and line of Stanley Steamers in front. CLatworthy in bottom right corner. (.006) This print is the bottom left. At least nine buildings, line of Steamers leaving loaded with passengers. Clatworthy in bottom right corner. Estes Park Chalets later became Marys Lake Lodge. |
