Side and rear of the Sam'l Service General Merchandise Store with a group of people and a wagon pulled by four horses next to the building. Signs on the building read "Sam'l Service General Merchandise" painted on the roof and "Baled Hay & Grain / Camper's Supplies, / Gasoline." on the side. People in photo from left - Wilma Service, Sam Service, Johnny Malmberg, Clarence Nevins, Mr. Hyde, Bill Fogg, Sr. This store became the Coffee Bar Cafe in the mid-1900s. Marks: On front below photo in ink "Coffee Bar Cafe - Circa 1917" and on reverse in ink "1910". Black and white, matte, white border. 1995.010.013 is a duplicate photo, but without the printing. |
