Description |
Brown vinyl spiral photo album with stamped gold trim on the front cover. Back is plain. Inside is a typed description of photos 1-20. There is a note stating that this page was scanned onto acid free paper 10/05. The second page of descriptions is not in the album. Page one contains 6 photos numbered 1-6 1.East Riverside looking at the Hardware store parking lot between Alpine Pharmacy and the Radio Shack 2.Where the Big Thompson and the Fall River meet on East Riverside. Fall River is so muddy it look like a beach that one could walk on. 3.The east side of the post office parking lot. 4.Trash beside a State Farm Insurance agent's car in post office parking lot 5.South side of Park Center Mall. Board says 'unsafe-do not enter'. 6.West side of Park Theater looking north on Moraine Ave. Think the wheel showing on the right edge of picture is of the little tractor with a scoop that was being used to scoop out Edelweiss House. Page 2 contains photos numbered 7-12 7.Same location as #6 looking west at river and road behind Rexall 8.The walkway leading to the west entrance of Park Center Mall 9.The bridge railing and the river under Park Center Mall just below the walkway 10.Elkhorn Avenue looking west where Elkhorn and Moraine meet. SE and SW corners of intersection. 11.Across from Hardware Store on Elkhorn Avenue 12.Working at Brodies Page 3 contains 6 photos numbered 13-18 13.The loader scooping up a load of groceries and mud. 14.One of the water tanks that tried to wash some of the much off of the street and the Salvation Army tent where workers could go to get a sandwich or a drink 15.Some people used wheel barrows to haul the goo out of their places and set the furniture and equipment out on the sidewalk to be hosed off if possible. 16.Fall River in Elkhorn Club Estates. 17.All there was to the bridge was the concrete-no rails, so in this place the trees had either caught the edge or someone had pulled them there as protection for a drop off. 18.The house that sat just west of the river-that Howard and I wanted to buy at one time-stopped after going through the barnyard of the Elkhorn Lodge on the highway next to the Dentist's office. Page 4 contains 6 photos numbered 19-24 19.The motel units at Sunset Motel-against the house and office. 20.Four Seasons Motel.
