Black and white photograph of the Silver Streak Train tracks on part of the "Phil's Photo Corral area." The train and photo corral were owned and operated by Phil "Casey" Martin. View is facing west, with the corral, signage, and prop horses in view over the wooden fence that separated the parking lot. In background, part of the hillside of the Knoll-Willows property is visible. Reverse has typewritten letter from Phil to his niece Carolynn. This image was taken at the Train's / Photo Corral's first location on East Elkhorn Avenue, in the area of the present day Haber Motel / The Egg & I / Estes Thai buildings, off of Wonderview and Elkhorn. |
