View is facing north, looking across Elkhorn Avenue at the train parked at the station and overhang with automobiles parked and in motion. In background is the hillside of the Knoll-Willows property, with part of Lumpy Ridge in far background. To left is fence and football field of the Estes Park High School with goal post visible. Very similar to 2021.026.015. This image was taken at the Train's first location on East Elkhorn Avenue, in the area of the present day Haber Motel / The Egg & I / Estes Thai buildings, off of Wonderview and Elkhorn. |
