Ruth Ashton Nelson sitting at the dining table in her Skyland summer home in Estes Park. Picture on wall behind her and to the right is the Thompson River snaking through the meadows before Olympus Dam was built. Ruth Ashton Nelson was a botanist who wrote the book "Plants of Rocky Mountain National Park." Skyland was the Ashton summer home east of H-G Ranch overlooking the range.
