Black and white photograph featuring the staff of the Estes Park Police Department, lined up in front of the former police department builing in Bond Park. A tri-wheeled department motorcycle which was used as the traffic enforcement cart is parked in the middle, with cars parked diagonally behind the line of people. Part of the former high school / present Town Hall building and the cliffs of the Knoll-Willows property are slightly visible in background. Many of the people are in uniform. The truck parked to the right is likely the animal control truck with "Estes Park Police Department Humane Division logo on side. Printed label on front reads "Estes Park Police Department / Robert Ault Chief / 1970" Man at far left in suit is Chief Robert Ault, the ninth person from left is Dick Colline, and the 11th from left is Walt Kappley. All others unidentified. Copy of 2020.002.002 with slightly reduced edges. |
