The Chapman family sitting in a Stanley Steamer in front of the log Chapman House in Moraine Park. Marks: On reverse of matte in pencil "Front Seat - / Charles Chapman / Mrs. Arah Chapman (mother of Charles) / Unknown / Back Seat - / Alson Chapman (brother of Charles) / Mrs. Mary Margaret Sprague / - noted on window mat: '32 - + 1 13th Stanley Steamer'". On reverse at the top in pencil are similar notes identifying the people in the photo, but the notes are mostly illegible. Black and white, matte, white border. Mounted on a heavy black matte board. Brown matte frame originally framed the photo, but the frame has become separated from the photo. |
