Marriage certificate of Abner Sprague and Mary Morrison, December 20, 1888. White paper with gold border and decoration, lettering in blue and red. Has drawing of minister, wedding couple and family. Certificate is from the State of Nebraska, County of Lancaster. Certificate is encased in wooden frame, reddish brown with gold painted decorative molding around inside edge. Glass dust cover. Marks: "Abner E. Sprague of Moraine in the State of Colorado and Mary A. Morrison of Hickman in the State of Nebraska were at Hickman in said County, by me joined together in Holy Matrimony on the twentieth day of December in the year... One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty-Eight." E.M. Lewis, Pres. Minister. |
