Description |
Pair man's 8" high brown leather boots. Toe piece is stitched on. 6 eyelets and 6 metal hooks laced with thong. Lined in natural canvas except for tongue on which is stamped numbers and maker. Tongue is attached up to 2nd hook and then is free. At instep 2 brass rivets and several badly worn climbing nails on sole. Heel studded with worn hoof nails. Leather binding on top inside boot. Marks: "Star Brand" stamped in leather at inside top of each boot. Inside right boot at top on outer-inner side stamped "333-2 62"/3105 5119 AW 80/ Roberts-Johnson and Rand/ [five pointed star]/ St Louis". The same appears on leaf boot at same place on lining but on inner side. |
