Description |
Yellow souvenir pillowcase with fringe. Pillowcase has depictions of Lily Pond, Wild Basin; Longs Peak from Trail Ridge Road; State flower, Columbine; Bear Lake and Longs Peak; Big Thompson Canon; Lonesome Pine; and Gem Lake in black ink. Scenes appear to have been hand colored but are now badly faded. material is silk or rayon. Pillowcase is open at the bottom for insertion of pillow. Date based on the fact that Trail Ridge Road was completed in 1932 and the Lonesome Pine was dead by 1949. |
