Description |
Metal machine painted black with green and gold stripes around base. Handle is depressed to punch a date into a check. Used to cancel checks at the Estes Park Bank. Six pins hold rollers in place and allow one to move the rollers, thus changing the date of cancellation. Check is inserted at the "EMPTY WASTE BOX OFTEN" end. Waste box can be removed for emptying. Materials from this accession were all used at the Estes Park Bank, which opened in 1908. |
