Description |
Handle appears to be wrapped with a tape textured to appear as leather. Base of handles have brass mountings. Circular pin cover is brass colored metal set with a paper cover and holding 2 pins. Circular mount is of a cream (or white) treated cloth scalloped the edges. Marks: Names are written in pencil on about one quarter of the folds. Names are: H.H. Baer, Dora Morrieger, A.V. Smith, Hispanan (or Hickman), Jennie Smith, Ella Creek, J.J. Bair, Emerald, Sadie Morrison. Names continued on other side: M.A.M. July 25, A.D. Ceele (or Cule),Be Bee, June 5, Carrie N., C. Edwin C., Pete C. Emerald, Yours kindly - Alice C., C.C. Swaney, Yours Only - Z.N.C., Gaston Curt. On paper cover of pin is illegible notation in pencil. |
