Black high quality felt with black grosgrain hat band with bow on side and brim is edged with black grosgrain. Top of hat has lots of minute holes punched in it to allow air into crown. Holes are not visible. Brown leather sweatband. Marks: Punched into sweatband "John B. Stetson Co./ Grand Prize/ 1900/ Paris" Printed in gold on sweatband "Geo. L. Griffin & Son/ 104 Washington St. Boston" - this printed twice with logo. formerly owned by F.O. Stanley |
