Description |
Steads Ranch hotel register/"Hotel Register" in gold script across face of black cloth hard back - with black leather corners. Spine binding in black leather extending 1 1/4" onto face and back, gold trim corners and down facing; on spine top in gold 537 and at base 3000. From Stead's Ranch, all page edges had red, yellow and blue lined design - but only the top shows well. Guest register from Stead's Ranch, located in Moraine Park on what was Sprague's homestead. First date of entry May 15th, 1909, last date September 27, 1914. Marks: interior first page "K 537" and inside back cover green paper stamp printed with "Buy Your T from Sprays. It is the Best." (Spray's refers to Spray's Coffee & Tea Co., Denver) |
