1986.114.038 - Card, Playing

Cloth covered heavy red box-one section slipping into the other. Double Some' R ' Set and Tally Ho on cover. The cards are bright red with a woodland scene on each. Each card is divided by a line - black and red and crosswise with numbers like fractions on both ends. The rules of the game are included. Copyright 1913 by A.J. Hodges. "Bilyeu" in ink written across center of each card. "Bilyeu" in ink written on front and back of each box.

1986.114.087 - Souvenir

A souvenir - round of lodge pole pine cut on the slant with bark left on. At one end a hole has been drilled and a red plastic string is tied through it. A brown tag with a red horse on one side with the other side "From" and "To" with address lines. Burnt in the wood is "Cedarmont Lodge, Colo." Cedarmont Lodge was run by Elmer and Bessie Bilyeu in the early 1940s.

Baby quilt. Pink flannel with rabbit figures all over- used as backing and turned up to front, which is attached with a feather stich. The top is made up of dark & light flannels squares with down blocks in between. Cotton batting- tied with pink yarn at corners of squares. 1930s. Nine patch blocks which may date from circa 1905. White felt cloche with grosgrain band and bow at front, over bow 2 pearl like ornaments wired on. At back above ribbon band is a pleat stitched in by hand. Inside is a lining inner band. Bessie Bilyeu's wedding hat.

Blue crepe - long sleeves which have self covered button at cuffs. Also small collar with band of cream crepe that follows down front like a tie. Collar buttons at throat. The skirt falls from the hips and has small pleats in front which are sewed down with 3 stitchings. Bessie Bilyeu wore this along with 1986.114.287b-c as her wedding outfit in 1927.

Blue crepe - long fuller sleeve than dress, neckband ends in long ties, and there are small button back lapels. There is a band at bottom with 4 self covered buttons, with button holes. It is fitted with waist below hip and bagginess above. Bessie Bilyeu wore this along with 1986.114.287a & c as part of her wedding outfit in 1927.
