Summary |
Ski Hidden Valley Estes Park, a feature-length documentary film seeks to tell the past, present, and future of the Hidden Valley ski area just above Estes Park, Colorado, in Rocky Mountain National Park. For over sixty years, this was a viable ski resort close to population centers of the Front Range and travel destinations of the Midwestern United States. Starting in 1947, the ski area was lift-serviced until the Park Service permanently closed the area in 1991. The filmmaker interviewed over 40 former employees and current Hidden Valley skiers, ski area and Park Service employees, concessionaires, patrolmen, and instructors to tell the story of this special place. |
