Description |
Three piece light cardboard box, the bottom has a set in cover both taped with black tape to keep out light. The outer lid fits down over and the top edges bound in maroon paper tape. Marks: the top sticker has picture of company plant with a hammer above - "Photographic Dry Plates, Keep in Dry Place, Open in dark room only, Manufactured by the Hammer Dry Plate Company, St Louis, MO" At one end of top lid a blue and white label (the left end missing) "Hammer Plates Record 5956, 1 dozen 4 x 5" On bottom of box "Pkd by No. 4" Date is approximate |
