Description |
Fitted tan canvas jacket with tan corduroy on outside of collar and on inside of buttoned cuffs. Two large patch pockets with flaps and a small breast pocket. 4 overlays of same material from shoulders down fronts and back. These are left unstitched at waist to carry belt. Has a black metal belt buckle toothed to hold other end of belt. Underarms are gussets with air vents in them. Has hanging loop inside back of neck. One greenish button of 4 left. Marks: Stamped on belt buckle "Pat. Jan 12.04" Right below back of neck a tag "Duxbak/Trade Mark/ Rain (Reg'd Cravenette (?) Trademark) Proof/ sportsman's Clothing/ Bird, Jones and Kenyou Utica New York" Used with 1969.029.002 as hiking outfit by the donor's mother, Mrs. G.S. Davies in Estes Park in the 1920s |
