Description |
Pair of Ladies true moccasin hiking boots. Brown well oiled unlined boots. 15 brass eyelets- no laces. Tongue is sewn in and goes to top. 1 inch leather heel with a leather strip from wide 2 1/2 " at back of heel to 1 inch at top of boot and which turns back and makes a 2 1/2" (6.3) loop before being stitched down. Used to pull on boots. Size 10 1/2 0r 11. Made in Berlin, Wisconsin. Worn by Trudy to climb Longs Peak in 1927 while on her honeymoon with donor. (Trudy and Carl Lewis) |
